研究方向:

海洋动力学(潮汐、内潮、风暴潮)和海洋生态系统动力学(浮游生态系统、水质)以及海洋中的物质输运(营养盐、污染物、泥沙、溢油、液化土)的数据同化资料分析

研究兴趣:

数据同化的理论和方法在海洋动力学与海洋生态系统动力学数值模拟研究中的应用;利用数据同化的理论和方法实现观测资料与数值模式的有机结合;利用数学物理反问题的理论和方法实现海洋学模型中重要参数的时空分布表达;基于最小二乘拟合的时间序列分析。

研究成果:

从事海洋动力学数值模拟与同化研究,在数值模型与观测资料的有机结合方面做出了一系列创新成果。建立了精度高、稳定可靠的伴随同化模型,这些模型包括:Ekman风海流伴随同化模型、二维潮波伴随同化模型、海表面温度伴随同化模型、天文潮与风暴潮耦合伴随同化模型、PM2.5伴随同化模型、生态系统(NPZD)动力学伴随同化模型、三维正压潮汐潮流伴随同化模型、密度分层内潮模型的伴随同化模型和三维悬浮泥沙输运伴随同化模型。上述伴随同化模型能够在最大限度地利用已有观测资料的条件下,把相关模型中的重要控制参数的确定变成依赖于区域内部相关要素观测值的数值迭代过程,实现了相关模型中的重要控制参数自动优化,得到的模拟结果与观测结果有良好的一致性。

基于自主建立的水下溢油数值模型,阐明了海洋动力背景误差海浪和泥沙对渤海水下溢油输移的影响;基于MITgcm数值模型建立的液化土数值模拟模型,实现了对液化土的准确模拟;上述研究成果得到了国际上同行的认可和关注。对传统调和分析方法进行改进,提出了非平稳潮汐调和分析方法(EHA);并将其应用于验潮站资料、内潮潜标观测资料和河流潮汐资料的分析中,得到了业内人士的认可和关注。提出的切比雪夫多项式拟合方法能够基于沿轨的卫星高度计观测数据,直接得到开阔海域主要半日和全日分潮以及其它半日和全日分潮的不受分辨率限制调和常数场;此方法所得主要分潮的调和常数与FES2014NAO.99bTPXO9模型的结果一致,但是不需要水深数据和底摩擦系数等不确定参数,更为重要的是不需要耗费大量计算资源,是验潮模型的研制方面的突破性进展。

曾获得山东省优秀博士学位论文指导奖2次,中国海洋大学优秀博士学位论文指导奖5次;在海洋学动力学数值模拟与同化方面,至2022年已培养毕业硕士研究生13人,博士研究生24人,其中9人获得山东省优秀毕业研究生称号。已毕业研究生和在读研究生有21人次获得研究生国家奖学金,8人次获得中国海洋大学博士研究生校长奖学金,15人次获得赫崇本奖学金、中国银行学术之星奖学金、獐子岛奖学金、浪潮奖学金和春华奖学金个人奖

科研奖励:

国家海洋局2006年海洋创新成果奖二等奖,第五位;获奖项目:中国近海潮汐潮流的分析、模拟和动力学研究。
